Earlier this year I entered a competition in Advanced Photographer magazine, who were asking for 3 landscape images, the best of which would win a selection of prizes, including a workshop at a place to be decided.
Roll forward a few months and I had completely forgotten about this, until an email dropped into my inbox from the editor of the magazine, Will, congratulating me on winning along with 2 other people.
We then had a bit of email tennis as a location was decided upon that was suitable for all of us (geographically speaking we couldn’t have been further apart if we tried!), eventually Flamborough Head on the East Yorkshire coast was decided upon.
So after a 350 mile round trip, a late night followed by a very early start, and a very nice breakfast in the B&B to set us up for the day, I came away with the following, including the feature in the magazine you can see below.
