A lovely day around the outskirts of Chester for Aimee & James’ special day, predictably the August weather was changeable and we had experienced blazing sun, downpours and plenty of wind all by 11am when the bridal preparation was well underway at the Abode Hotel in Chester city centre (who I must mention the staff for special praise as they let me out of a particular part of hotel I found myself trapped in several times without a keycard!)
It was then on to the beautiful St Mary’s Church in Handbridge, I hadn’t visited this church since being dragged round jumble sales there as a kid many years prior so was good to go back with a purpose other than moaning at my Mother!
Due to the weather changing once again after the ceremony and becoming very cold we didn’t hang about and made our way over to Eccleston Village Hall for the reception, lovely function venue tucked away in the small village with a complete DIY setup, perfect for anyone wanting to put their own touches to their day and it didn’t disappoint.
Fantastic day with a thoroughly lovely couple, couldn’t be more pleased to have been involved in a small way.
