A relaxing weekend camping on Shell Island, a peninsula lying west of Llanbedr in Gwynedd, Wales.

I came here many times as a child and had fond memories of it, not least being completely cut off from the world when the causeway flooded at high tide, which can scupper some plans though as we found out on one day, racing back from Aberystwyth to get back on the island before being cut off for 4 hours, made it with 10 minutes to spare!

Spent the Saturday evening on the large sand dunes with camera and some beers, perfect!
