A lovely evening walk round West Kirby Marine Lake with the family, and an ideal opportunity to try the new DJI Phantom 4 that arrived the previous day.

Set on the very tip of the Wirral Peninsula with stunning views of the Welsh Hills and the Dee Estuary, this artificial saltwater lake is fast becoming a top tourist destination. It is 52 acres in size, 5 foot deep and totally enclosed, making it an exceptionally safe facility.

The Lake is home to the Wirral Sailing School, which offers courses in sailing, windsurfing and canoeing, making it the ideal place to indulge your adventurous side. The less energetic can also enjoy West Kirby’s Marine Lake by taking a leisurely stroll around the border of the lake or along the stretch of beach from West Kirby to Red Rocks at Hoylake.

    Hi James
Really love the photo from above the lake wall! Wondering if I might share on WirralSailing Centre’s Facebook page please? I always credit the photographer. Best wishes, Liz
